Fair Wear ensures that member companies implement working practices in their supply chain and reviews compliance by monitoring audits and remedies. Annual reporting by member companies and Fair Wear itself promotes transparency at all levels.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading organic fibre textile processing standard, including ecological and social criteria, and is supported by an independent certificate throughout the textile supply chain.

EarthPositive textiles are 100% organic and CO2 emissions have been reduced by 90%.

The carbon footprint was calculated according to the BSI PAS2050 method and certified with carbon trust cartifications.

The 90% reduction has been achieved by combining low-impact organic farming, efficiency in manufacturing and transportation, and the use of renewable energy, instead of fossil fuel-based mains electricity.

It has been calculated that one EarthPositive T-shirt saves about 7 kilograms of carbon dioxide, while a hooded blouse saves up to 28 kilograms of greenhouse gases. These are real manufacturing reductions without CO2 emissions.
